The Manitowoc Bandits baseball team didn’t panic after they lost the first game in their playoff series against the Casco A’s.
Instead, they poured on the offense, outscoring the A’s 22-2 in the next two games, securing their spot in the Shoreland League Championship game.
Game Two took place on Friday, with the Bandits clobbering the A’s 14-2 to tie the series up at one game apiece.
Then on Saturday, the Bandits jumped out to an 8-0 lead, but lightning caused the game to be postponed until Sunday.
However, according to Coach Chris Cisler, “Due to some unexpected issues” Casco conceded game three, giving Manitowoc the win.
The Bandits will take on the winner of the series between the Ashwaubenon Lookouts and the Denmark Devilbears. Game three of that series has been postponed until tomorrow (August 10th).
