Family and friends of Molly Seidel watched her win a bronze Olympic medical in the marathon Friday night.
They were all huddled around a laptop computer, watching the race with a thunderstorm hitting outside the home in Hartland.
The 27-year-old Seidel grew up in Nashotah.
The folks back home had been watching on a big screen T-V when it lost service. That’s when they switched to the laptop.
It was only the third marathon Seidel has ever run.
Her father says she will hurry back to the U-S to run in another ace in about a week.
She also wants to run the Boston and New York marathons.
