Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jrue Holiday says he has had an outstanding summer.
Holiday and the Bucks won the N-B-A title, then two days later and he and teammate Khris Middleton jumped on a plane, flew to Japan, and led the United States to an Olympic gold medal.
Another American, Jayson Tatum, called Holiday the “super-champion” after the win over France in the gold medal game.
Holiday and Middleton became the second N-B-A teammates to win a league title, then claim Olympic gold in the same year.
The others were Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in 1992 with what was called the “Dream Team.”
