Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball has made a scholarship offer to recruiting class of 2024 wing Cooper Koch of Peoria, Illinois.
Koch is a six-foot-seven wing who plays for Notre Dame High Schools.
He already has offers from Bradley, Iowa, Wake Forest, and Western Illinois. Programs like Illinois and Purdue are said to be showing some interest.
Koch’s father, J-R, was a teammate of Badgers assistant Dean Oliver with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
That’s a “foot-in-the-door” the Badgers will try to use to cement a relationship with the talented player.
