Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn’t saying very much in public about his showdown with the team, but he apparently stayed in touch with his backup, Jordan Love.
Last year’s M-V-P says he reached out to Love a number of times to see how he was doing.
Rodgers says he didn’t keep things away from Love and let him know where he was, mentally.
He was in the same situation earlier in his career when he was backup to Brett Favre.
Love is set to ride the bench again this season, but Rodgers and the Packers may part ways after it’s over – and Love could be the starter in 2022.
