Former Wisconsin basketball assistant Alando Tucker is denying reports he plotted to take over the program from head coach Greg Gard.
Tucker has used social media to deny that he did anything wrong.
He was an interim assistant for the last two years, taking the place of his friend Howard Moore.
Tucker says he has been the target of slanderous articles, conversations, tweets, and messages concerning his exit from U-W-Madison.
He says it all has been based on “falsehoods, mistaken assumptions, and misguided opinions.”
He was responding to articles in the Journal-Sentinel.
So far, no school officials have gone public in support of his version.
