Manitowoc’s shelter for homeless men is planning a fundraiser this weekend.
Michael Etheridge, the Executive Director of the Haven, was on WCUB’s Breakfast Club yesterday and talked about the plans for an event at the Wharf on Manitowoc’s waterfront:
“We want to present to you our Sunday Fund-Day,” he explained. “Brennan [Seehafer] is partnering with us, he has a wonderful venue, a really good band is playing. That event starts at 1 pm, ends at 6:30. Come on out and support us. We’ll have baskets, 50-50 raffles, and a table set up with information about the Haven, where you can come learn more about us.
The fundraiser will be this coming Sunday (August 8th), with music provided by Unity the Band.
The Haven is located in the old church school building at 1004 Marshall Street in Manitowoc.
