The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the Saturday morning crash of a small plane has sent two people to area hospitals.
The plane went down at about 11:20 a-m just west of the Hartford Municipal Airport.
The man and woman who were on the plane were hurt.
Emergency responders say the woman was unconscious and had to be extricated from the wreckage.
No names were released.
Federal investigators have been contacted.
Local authorities didn’t report why the aircraft crashed.
