The preliminary hearing for a homicide defendant has been postponed for a fourth time in Manitowoc County Court.
19-old Joshua Walcott has an appointed public defender, but he is trying to hire a private attorney.
Walcott is charged with first-degree intentional homicide for a fatal shooting in Two Rivers in May.
Three hearings were postponed in June before Thursday’s scheduled preliminary was put off until September 8th.
Prosecutors say Walcott and shooting victim Malachi Moore were arguing over who made more money when Walcott grabbed a gun, started waving it around, then shot Moore.
