As the first day of school draw ever closer, a big question on many parents’ and student’s minds is, will students be required to wear masks?
Those in the Sheboygan Area School District have their answer, as the District Board announced earlier this week, that they are not requiring them.
Those who wish to wear them still can, but it will not be mandatory.
This comes at a time when COVID cases are on the rise nationwide, and in Sheboygan County, and as the CDC recommends that anyone age two and older wear one at all times when inside.
While vaccinations have not been approved for anyone 12-years-old or younger, the SASD has stated that they will continue to promote vaccination opportunities for those who are eligible.
