A Manitowoc woman charged with the death of a three-year-old child in 2018 has been found guilty.
Jamie Schrank was in front of Judge Robert Dewane yesterday, where a jury found her guilty of two counts of Chronic Child Neglect, Repeated Acts of Child Abuse Causing Death, Possession of Methamphetamine, and others.
Schrank had declined a plea deal last week which would have limited her prison time to a maximum of 20 years, however now she could spend a maximum of life in prison for just one account.
Her sentencing is scheduled for October 7th, a year and a half after Eduardo Gamez was sentenced to 12 years in prison for his connection to the child’s death.
