A Green Bay man was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly drove while under the influence with a child in the vehicle.
29-year-old Michael A. Marino was a part of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection with County Highways T and K in the Town of Champion at around 5:50 on Tuesday, which left two people trapped in a vehicle.
Marino was reportedly driving south on T and failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with the truck which was traveling east on K. Both vehicles rolled and ended up in a nearby farm field.
Marino and his minor passenger were airlifted from the scene, and the driving of the truck suffered minor injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were found in Marino’s vehicle, and he has been charged with his second OWI offense, three counts of OWI Causing Injury, Consuming Intoxicants while Driving, Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence with a Child Under the Age of 16, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and several traffic citations.
