For the past couple of years, the City of Two Rivers has been trying to sell the property that was formerly owned by Paragon Partners, located at 606 Parkway Boulevard.
It appeared as though progress was being made, as conversations were happening with the City and AIM Manitowoc for a purchase agreement, but it looks like that has come to an end.
“AIM Manitowoc LLC had a 90-day option to purchase, that included a $25,000 non-refundable deposit,” City Manager Greg Buckley explained to Seehafer News. “There was a proposal from the company to further extend the option for another 90 days. The [City] Council did, after discussion in a closed session, vote to not extend that option.”
Or, simply put, the City will once again begin actively pursuing marketing for the property.
Paragon Partners bought the property as the location for an electric company but closed down operations in 1999.
It was donated to a Jewish school in Illinois, before going on the market in 2015.
