Construction season continues in full force today in Manitowoc, as crews will be working on a section of North 8th Street.
According to Streets Team Leader Billy Hutterer, the section of roadway between Waldo Boulevard and Reed Avenue will be closed to thru traffic for the repair of a water service pipe.
Northbound traffic will be rerouted onto Waldo Boulevard, to Memorial Drive, then to Reed Avenue, and back to North 8th Street, and vice versa for southbound traffic.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the workday and reopened to thru traffic, however, lane closures will remain until the pavement is restored.
