A Sheboygan teen was arrested on Sunday (July 25th) after he fled from police in a stolen car.
The chase began after the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office received a traffic complaint from a witness at around 5:50 PM.
Deputies located the vehicle at around 7:00 PM on County Road V. The teen sped off but crashed only a few minutes later after spike strips were utilized.
The suspect then took off on foot, disappearing into the woods near Mueller Road in Sheboygan.
A drone team, the State Patrol, and the Sheboygan Police Department all aided in the search for the teen, who was later located and arrested.
The teen was reportedly driving a vehicle that had been stolen in Milwaukee, however, it is not clear if the suspect was the one who stole the vehicle.
