There is no doubt that spending some time at the Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center can be a blast, but for those with special needs, it could be a struggle.
In an attempt to include everyone, the local pool has scheduled some time strictly for those with special needs.
The next of these Splash Time events are scheduled for this Saturday (July 24th) from 10:00 until noon.
This event is free only to families who have individuals with any special needs and is a great opportunity for families of special needs individuals to network with each other.
There will be firefighters and lifeguards available to assist families that might need an extra hand.
Also, the Aquatic Center is hosting a Jazz at the Pool event this evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
The Jake Opperman Jazz Band will be performing live and admission is $9.
This event is 21+, beer and wine will be available for purchase at the concession stand.
