Motorists in Sheboygan County are being warned of a major construction project beginning next month near Cedar Grove.
The Department of Transportation has begun informing residents in Cedar Grove that the stretch of Highway 32 from Main Street to I-43 will be under construction starting August 2nd, which is only about a mile of roadway, but a 10-mile detour will be necessary.
Motorists will have to travel north, past Oostburg to County Road V, and back down either I-43 or Highway 32, depending on which side you need to be on.
Local traffic will still be able to pass through Cedar Grove using Suk Trail Road, and County Highways LL and RR.
The project is projected to be completed by the beginning of September.
