One of the two men involved in a shooting case in Two Rivers in 2019 has been sentenced.
32-year-old William T. Langrick, who is listed as being from Newberry Michigan, was sentenced by Judge Jerilyn Dietz to spend 5 years in prison on charges of being Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and his 2nd Possession of THC Offence, while charges of Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia were read into the record.
Langrick was in a vehicle with Nash W. Fiske when they were pulled over by Two Rivers Police Officer Dakota Gamez.
The officer ordered Fiske out of the vehicle after noticing the smell of Marijuana and asked him to sit on the curb.
Fiske reportedly reached toward his left leg toward a handgun, which caused Officer Gamez to shoot him.
Fiske later died at Aurora Hospital, and Langrick, the owner of the vehicle, was arrested.
