Vandalism in Manitowoc City Parks has been an issue for Law Enforcement in 2021.
Police Chief Nick Reimer says incidents have occurred at Citizens and Pulaski Park plus Lincoln Park Cabin Number One was burned earlier this year.
He says arrests have been made in the Citizens Park case but the police need help in minimizing these types of crimes.
“There are only so many officers. We need the public’s help,” he said. “We’re all in this together. Even if It turns out to be nothing we’re fine with that. It’s very costly to the taxpayers. Then you can’t use the bathroom and enjoy the City Parks.”
