A 41-year-old Sheboygan man has been arrested in Ohio after he allegedly drove 450 miles to have sex with an 8-year-old girl and her mother.
Christopher Halcomb allegedly made contact with a woman from Cheviot Ohio and began asking about having sex with her 8-year-old daughter.
The woman contacted the police and turned the conversation over to them.
The investigators set up a time and place for the man to meet with the mother-daughter duo, which was at a Sharonville Ohio hotel.
Halcomb was arrested on Monday after he arrived at the hotel, and was charged with Attempted Rape, and Importuning, which is defined as persistent harassment of someone for or to do something.
His bail has been set at $200,000 cash, and Halcomb remains in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
