A Manitowoc woman is facing charges after becoming heavily intoxicated and attempting to kick and bite Manitowoc Police officers.
41-year-old Lauren Ireland appeared in Manitowoc County court yesterday (July 12th) on charges of battery with a domestic violence enhancer, and battery to a law enforcement officer.
She was released on a $1500 recognizance bond and ordered to maintain absolute sobriety.
Her next court appearance will be on August 3rd at 1:30 pm.
Police said she was taken into custody over the weekend after allegedly drinking a bottle of vodka during the day.
She was found on the ground, having trouble breathing, and police say she fought with officers, EMS personnel, and medical personnel.
