Farmers have until August 2nd to nominate candidates to serve on the Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committees.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) accepts nominations each year in certain Local Administrative Areas (LAAs) for individuals to serve on these locally-led committees.
The 2021 County Committee election in Manitowoc County covers Cooperstown, Gibson, Kossuth, Mishicot, Two Creeks, Two Rivers, and LLA #1, while in Sheboygan County it covers Holland, Lima, Lyndon, Sherman, Wilson, and LAA #3.
And in Calumet County, the election covers Chilton, Rantoul, Stockbridge, and LAA #3.
To be considered, a producer must sign an FSA-669A nomination form.

Election ballots will be mailed to eligible voters beginning November 1st.
