Police say a Milwaukee firefighter has been suspended after being accused of sexually assaulting a colleague. Officials say 35-year-old Fire Lieutenant Michael Peden at Engine 26 is charged with sexual assault after a woman at the firehouse filed a complaint against him. She told investigators that Peden grabbed her breast, forced her hand on his private area and also made racist or explicit comments toward her earlier this year. If convicted, Peden could face up to 25 years behind bars plus fines totaling 100-thousand dollars. Peden’s attorney says her client denies the accusations and maintains his innocence.
