Whitewater police say three juveniles were taken into custody Thursday in connection with a bomb threat that led to district officials placing Whitewater Middle School on lockdown. Officers were dispatched to the school at around 10-45 A-M regarding a written bomb threat. The school was then placed on lockdown and searched by staff members. No suspicious devices were found, and classes resumed in the afternoon. Investigators say the three juveniles were identified before the end of the school day. There is no word yet on what charges they may face.
