A three-run 7th inning powered the Green Bay Booyah past the Lakeshore Chinooks for the second day in a row.
The Grafton-based Chinooks took a two-run lead on their home diamond after scoring one run in the 3rd and 4th innings and pulled starting pitcher Nate Haberthier after five successful innings. Relievers Brody Ware and Cade Brent gave up the three runs in the 7th, and both teams added another in the 9th, winning 4-3.
Booyah pitcher Christian Orr picked up the win in relief, pitching 3 innings and allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out 4.
Offensively, the Booyah were lead by Jake Berg, who drove in two runs on three hits, while Brenden Ryan, Tyler Hollow, and Nadir Lewis accounted for the three remaining hits.
The Booyah are back in action this evening at Capital Credit Union Park in Green Bay, as they take on the Kenosha Kingfish. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 PM.
