Six people were injured in an accident in Sheboygan County Friday afternoon. The incident took place at around 4:30 PM, and took place on State Highway 57 at County Road A, just east of Elkhart Lake. While initial reports indicated that six vehicles may have been involved, and investigation revealed that four were actually involved. The investigation indicated that three of the vehicles were traveling southbound on Highway 57, when one slowed to turn onto County Road A. When the trailing vehicle slowed, the third vehicle struck the second, causing it to spin into the Northbound lane, and was struck by a fourth vehicle. While there were no life-threatening injuries discovered, six people were transported to local hospitals.
