A man is facing charges after he reportedly struck a woman while at a gas station in Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Police Department dispatches officers to the BP gas station at 808 Memorial Drive at around 3:00 Thursday afternoon (July 1st) to investigate a report of disorderly conduct.
They found the 61-year-old male suspect walking in the former Younkers parking lot.
The man denied that anything happened, but the female victim told police that the man had punched her and pulled her hair.
This version of events was corroborated by workers at the gas station, and the man was taken into custody on a charge of Simple Battery.
