A Manitowoc man was taken into police custody yesterday after he reportedly entered a home through a balcony window.
The owner of the home in the 1300 block of South 14th Street called the Manitowoc Police at around 4:00 PM on Thursday claiming a man was in her home and refused to leave.
She told police that he had entered the home through a balcony window, which caused an alarm to sound.
When the victim went to investigate, she found the man, whom she did not know, standing in her home.
The man was reportedly searching for the victim’s ex-boyfriend because he owed him money.
The man eventually left and was located near the intersection of South 12th and Madison Streets, and was taken into custody.
The 47-year-old suspect is facing charges of Burglary and Felony Bail Jumping.
