A Manitowoc man was arrested late last week after he called police to let them know he was planning on messing up his father’s home.
Officers were sent to the man’s father’s home in the 2500 block of Wollmer Street just after 7:30 AM on Friday (June 18th) after the suspect informed him that he was on his way there.
When he arrived, he pounded on the door, while telling the police that he was smarter than everyone in Manitowoc, including them.
The officers warned him that what he was doing could be considered disorderly conduct, which would be a violation of his probation.
He yelled that he didn’t care and continued to act aggressively.
The 28-year-old man then started punching a vehicle parking in the driveway, and the officer told the man he was under arrest.
The man told the officer off and began walking away, eventually running from the officers.
He was eventually caught and tasered by an officer and taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.
