
Things continue to trend in a positive direction in Manitowoc County as far as COVID-19 is concerned.
Only two new cases were reported by the Health Department yesterday (June 17th) leaving the pandemic total at 7,654, with no new deaths.
The death toll remained at 72, right where it has been since the end of May.
Also, 207 more vaccinations were administered, with 101 of them being the first doses. In total, 68,715 shots have been given out, with 36,606 of them being first-dose shots.
In Sheboygan County, it was much of the same.
Three new cases and six recoveries were reported by the Division of Public Health. That brings their pandemic totals up to 13,876 confirmed cases, 13,686 recoveries, and 43 cases remain active.
They also did not report any new deaths, that total remaining at 147.
