Manitowoc Lincoln High School Graduate Eric Fogltanz is getting a chance to continue his track career.
Last week we reported that Eric’s collegiate career came to an end with a 12th place finish at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
We were informed by his father Don that Eric will be running at the USA Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene Oregon, or at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
Don explained that “The Trials will run from June 18th through the 27th, with the first round (quarterfinals) of the 400 meter hurdles on Thursday, June 24th. The second round (semi-finals) and the finals will be held on June 25th and June 26th, respectively.”
The top three race finishers will represent the US in the Olympic Games in Tokyo Japan later this summer.
