The Maritime Bay Classic Bicycle Race has announced that Ascend Services will be the beneficiary of all proceeds.
The Bay City Bike Race is making its triumphant return to Manitowoc after a 12-year hiatus, as we reported last week.
Deana Genske, the Executive Director of Ascend voiced her excitement, saying in a news release, “We are very grateful to be the beneficiaries of the Maritime Bay Classic this year to support our efforts to diversify services for our participants and help them continue to build and develop skills.”
The race is scheduled to take place June 21st, and 22nd in the downtown area of Manitowoc.
Food vendors and an evening reception on the 21st on the roof deck of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum will also be part of the bicycle racing event.
