Authorities are currently searching the Fond du Lac River after it was reported they were told about a hand that was found in the body of water.
They were informed of the extremity just after 7:00 last night (June 15th), with the caller claiming to have seen it in the area of North Lincoln Street just south of Johnson Street.
The individual was cleaning up debris from the riverside when they saw what they believed to be a human hand in the water.
A limited search was conducted in the area, but the hand was not located.
Crews decided to suspend the search until today, once the sun came up.
Crews may contact the DNR to utilize sonar equipment to make the search more efficient.
