A Manitowoc man has been sentenced for his involvement in a 2020 aggravated assault and armed robbery case.
21-year-old Tyriq D. Gudger-Company was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of 1st Degree Reckless Injury, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Judge Robert Dwayne sentenced Gudger-Company to a total of four and a half years in prison, to be followed by seven years of extended supervision.
He and one other suspect were arrested after they drove a vehicle up next to an individual who was walking near the intersection of North 7th and Huron Streets on May 25th.
Three men exited the vehicle brandishing BB pistols and demanded the victim empty his pockets.
They also reportedly shot the victim and struck him with their pistols.
