In the Eastern Wisconsin Conference, the Roncalli softball team displayed a strong offense along with a solid pitching effort to shut out Sheboygan Falls 12-0.
Maddie Hablewitz slammed three home runs and drove in 4 runs as part of the Jets 14-hit attack. Abby Stelzer also went 4-for-5 at the plate and stole 3 of the Jets 6-bases on the day.
Winning pitcher Jena Garceau limited the Falcons to only a pair of hits, while striking out 9.
Meanwhile, New Holstein defeated Valders 8-to-5 in EWC action.
Madalyn Lambert started and took the loss. But, Lambert did her part with the bat, going 3-for-4 with a run scored for the Vikings, who are now 10-&-7 7-&-6 in league.
