Manitowoc Lutheran posted a 9-to-6 victory over Big East Conference foe, Random Lake, yesterday afternoon. Aubrey Schleis gets the win while Jenna Lischka earned a save. Lischka also had 4-RBI’s on a 2-run double and a 2-run single as the Lancers improve to 4-and-4 in conference, 7-and-5 overall. Jayla Harter took the loss for the visiting Rams, despite allowing only 3-earned runs.
Luxemburg-Casco blanked Valders 6-0 in conference play. The host Vikings were limited to 3-hits by Spartans’ winning pitcher Rebecca Kroll, who also struck out ten with just one walk. Taylor Hammel pitched a complete game in the loss. LC broke the game open with a 4-run 7th. With the loss, Valders fell to 9-and-6 overall, 6-and-5 in the EWC.
