Work ramps up this week on nearly eight miles of asphalt paving work on U.S. 151 from State Highway 67 to the Valders City limits.
Crews are continuing milling of existing asphalt pavement with asphalt paving operations to follow and expected to continue through Friday.
Additional work scheduled includes base aggregate shouldering, culvert repair, curb and gutter replacement, beam guard improvements, and pavement marking.
U.S. Highway 151 will remain open with flagging operations, and slight delays should be expected. The nearly $2.3 million project is expected to be completed by September 1, 2021, and contingent on weather conditions.
