Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich never got comfortable Monday night and, after one game, his team has placed the former M-V-P back on the injured list.
Yelich actually had a couple of hits in the game but Brewers manager Craig Counsell says his back didn’t respond well.
Doctors may not know what they’re looking for when they start checking his back again. More than one M-R-I failed to show any structural damage.
Counsell says Yelich didn’t aggravate his back situation in the game against Philadelphia. He says the Brewers want to completely resolve the situation before activating him again.
