Bail is set at $25,000 cash for a 36-year-old Manitowoc man accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s child multiple times over a nearly three-year span.
Travis L. Tingler is charged with Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child, Exposing a Child to Harmful Material, First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia, and One Count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
The child’s mother told authorities she was living with Tingler at the time of the assaults that allegedly occurred when she was at work.
Tingler also allegedly made the child watch pornographic videos on his phone telling the victim not to say anything or he would kill them and denied ever touching the child inappropriately.
Conditions of Bail are that Tingler has no contact with the victim and any member of the victim’s household or under the age of 18 and report to The Manitowoc Police Department for photos and prints.
He remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for May 3rd at 1:30.
