The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association has revealed its’ high school and college coach of the year winners along with college players of the year.
Co-coaches of the year in Boys basketball are Nick Bennett of Racine St. Catherine’s and Otto Hopfinger of Hustisford, who led their respective teams to the division-3 and five state titles.
The Girls basketball coach of the year is Brandon Siska, who directed the L-Cats of Lake Mills to the division-3 state championship.
Collegiately, Greg Gard from the University of Wisconsin was named Division-1 Men’s Coach of the year while UW-Milwaukee’s Kyle Rechlicz was selected to receive the D-‘1 Women’s coaching honor.
D’Mitrick Trice of the Badgers and Selena Lott of Marquette were chosen Players of the Year.
