The Manitowoc Public School District Board of Education has two meetings on the docket for today (April 27th), both at their offices on Lindbergh Drive.
First, they will hold an organizational meeting at Noon, where they will elect their Board Officers, Secretary, and Treasurer/Deputy Clerk.
Then at 12:30 PM, they will enter into a special meeting, where they will receive updates from the Curriculum Committee, and a personnel report from Superintendent Mark Holzman.
The Board will also be reviewing a proposed raise for the base salary for teachers. The proposal brought forth by the Finance and Budget Committee requests a 1.23% increase in that base salary.
