Manitowoc’s Seehafer Broadcasting has named Terry Stevenson as their new Vice President.
President Mark Seehafer stated in a news release that Stevenson is “invaluable to the success of Seehafer Broadcasting, and continues to work hard in all aspects of this company.”
Stevenson started his radio career at the age of 16, working for his grandfather and founder of Seehafer Broadcasting, Don Seehafer.
That being said, Stevenson stated that Mr. Seehafer never gave him anything, but rather made him work for it by going out and getting sponsorships for his radio program.
That work made Stevenson appreciate the amount of work that goes into operating a radio station, and Stevenson said he is “thankful to have learned from [Mr. Seehafer’s] examples and worked alongside him for so many years.”
Seehafer Broadcasting currently owns six radio stations in Manitowoc, including WOMT, WCUB, WQTC, WLKN, WLTU, and WEMP, as well as two in Marshfield, and the Seehafer News website and app.
