A Manitowoc man charged in two different incidents has changed his pleas in two cases.
24-year-old Jonathan Gallegos was found guilty due to no contest pleas on charges of fleeing and eluding while operating a vehicle, three counts of battery, and two counts of disorderly conduct.
All other charges in both cases were dismissed but read into the record.
Judge Mark Rohrer scheduled a sentencing hearing for November 30th.
Gallegos was first arrested in early 2024 after police were called because someone had pointed some type of rifle at two high school students, causing the caller to yell at him.
Gallegos would approach the person and hit them multiple times but would later claim to police that he was just having a “Nerf” gun fight with people he knew.
Later, he would be arrested again for another domestic incident in 2024, where the victim said the 24-year-old had struck and strangled a woman he’d had a relationship with.
He would later get away in the victim’s car before police arrived, but would be taken into custody later that day.
