The Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department is asking parents to help shape youth sports in the community.
The department has created a survey to help guide future programs, coaching initiatives, and community efforts to make youth sports more welcoming, affordable, and enjoyable.
The survey will ask parents whether their children have played sports or have stopped for certain reasons.
It will also ask about time commitment and what might prevent a parent from wanting to volunteer with youth sports.
Two Rivers Parks and Rec Department adds that youth sports “should be about more than wins and losses; they provide opportunities for children to build friendships, develop confidence, learn teamwork, stay active, and have fun.”
The survey can be found on a Google Docs form through the city.
