A Two Rivers man is back in custody after posting bail just days earlier.
21-year-old Weston Ward was given a $1,000 cash bail yesterday (November 2nd) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on charges of OWI – Second and Bail Jumping.
These charges arose after Ward was stopped for speeding in a 25 MPH zone late last week, where his BAC was .198, more than twice the legal limit.
Just two days earlier (October 30th), Ward was given and posted a $3,000 cash bail after being charged with two counts of Battery with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Burglary with the Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Criminal Damage to Property.
These charges are linked to an incident where the 21-year-old is alleged to have climbed onto a second-story balcony to gain entry to a residence.
From here, Ward is said to have punched one of the victims in the head multiple times and pushing a woman, identified as his ex-girlfriend, to the ground before brandishing a knife.
Ward will return to court in his most recent case on Monday (November 9th), while he made his initial appearance in his battery case yesterday.
