Georgiana “Trixie” Risch, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
Trixie was born in Oconto, WI to the late Carney and Verna (Colson) Ragen. She graduated at the age of 16 from Lena High School and then moved to Manitowoc. Trixie married Richard Risch, he preceded her in death on September 20, 1992. She worked at Mirro and waitressed for 20 years until her retirement. Trixie was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary, she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting activities and walking.
Trixie is survived by her three children: Nancy Risch, Debbie (Mark) Prochnow, and Rick (Joan) Risch; two grandchildren: Tyler and Jamie; five great-grandchildren: Charlie, Ella, Emma, Grady, and Griffin; and two sisters: Mary Sharkey and Carmen Sharkey. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Trixie was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Risch; her parents: Carney and Verna Ragen; sisters: Bernetta LaRose, Delores Vugrinovich, Clara Wusterbarth, Betty Felix, Donna Covert, Kathryn Bridges, Jean Amann, and Patricia Peterson; and brothers: Jack Ragen and Dudley Ragen.
A Celebration of Trixie’s life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
