One person has died after their vehicle slammed into a house.
The Oshkosh Police Department was called to the intersection of Merritt Avenue and Grand Street just after 2:00 Monday morning on a report of a single-vehicle accident.
It was determined that the unnamed driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, had steered off the roadway for an unknown reason and collided with a house.
A winch on an Oshkosh Fire Department ladder truck was used to remove the vehicle, and lifesaving measures were administered.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
