The City of Manager of Two Rivers was arrested over the weekend.
Manitowoc Police Chief John Musial confirmed with SeehaferNews.com that Kyle Kordell was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, each with Domestic Violence enhancers, and was released on a $650 cash bail.
Chief Musial would not confirm any additional information on the case, as the report has not yet been completed.
We are expecting more information sometime today.
This comes as the City Council is set to hold another closed session discussion about Kordell.
After previously meeting in a closed session to debate the “performance and conduct” of a “Management level employee” in a closed session during last week’s work session meeting, the Council is set to do the same again this evening.
Kordell has been on paid temporary leave for nearly a month, after announcing on October 9th that he would be “spending some time away…to focus on his family and taking some time off.”
SeehaferNews.com waited outside of the council chambers for over an hour on October 26th while they held the talks behind closed doors, and when we asked Council President Scott Stechmesser if anything was determined, he said he had “no comment at this time.”
We were also able to make contact with Kordell, who said he was “under a gag order” and “not allowed to speak on that for now.”
