A memorial benefit fundraiser has been scheduled for the family of Payton Vertz.
The 16-year-old Two Rivers resident was killed a couple of weeks ago, and two people have been arrested.
The benefit will be held at the J.E. Hamilton Community House on 17th Street in Two Rivers on Saturday, November 14th.
It will begin at noon with basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction, with proceeds going to Payton’s family.
Snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
15-year-old Nathan Reichard and 26-year-old Dominic Pilgreen are each facing charges in the case, with Reichard being held on a $500,000 cash bond and Pilgreen due for his initial appearance on November 2nd.
