The City of Sheboygan is looking to keep trick-or-treaters safe on Halloween.
Trick-or-treating will take place tomorrow (October 31st) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Sheboygan.
The City urges participants to stay visible by wearing bright colors, adding reflective tape to costumes, or carrying a flashlight or glow stick.
It is also recommended to travel in groups or to trick-or-treat while accompanied by an adult.
It is also important to be mindful of traffic, as drivers may have difficulty seeing children after dark, so use sidewalks when possible and cross streets at corners using the crosswalk.
Lastly, the City urges trick-or-treaters to wait until they’ve returned home to inspect their candy and to avoid eating any treats that are unwrapped or that look suspicious.
Following these steps can ensure that Halloween is enjoyed safely by all.
